Mutual Respect
Mutual respect is at the heart of all we do. Children learn that their behaviours have an effect on their own rights and those of others. All members of the school community treat each other with respect. Incidents where children are not respectful are dealt with in line with our Behaviour Policy.
We teach our children to respect others from a wide range of backgrounds, which may be similar or very different to their own. This includes people with special needs or a disability and people who come from a range of different cultural backgrounds.

Our last Ofsted report makes reference to the fact that our pupils "are aware of different types of bullying, including cyber-bullying and also homophobic bullying."
A number of initiatives we undertake in the local community further support our work in this area. These include links with a local Care Home, where our children will visit and read with or sing to the residents and links to Linacre Methodist Mission.
