Maple (Y3)

Welcome to Year 3 Maple Class 2019 - 2020

Hello Maple Class,

Mr Otten again! How crazy that this is your last full week in Year 3! These last couple of months have flown by but I have no doubt that you lot will be Year 4 ready when you arrive back to school after the summer holidays! I'd love to hear what your favourite moment/lesson has been this year and what you are looking forward to going into Year 4. Why don't you write a letter to your new teacher (Mrs Dickinson) telling a little bit about yourself so she knows you even better next year?

Well this week has been very exciting for myself! I FINALLY managed to get my haircut and took off all of the curls. They really started to become annoying in the end, it had been 4 long months since the last haircut. My head feels really cold now! To go on top of this, I finally had a takeaway meal from my favourite food restaurant. I wonder if any of you can think of where it is? I know Mr Halsall mentioned it to you!

I am really pleased with your efforts this week on TT Rockstars. You managed to beat both my little Year 1 class as well as Mrs Murray and Mr Sheerin's Year 2 class! Well done in particular to Amelia who managed to get the highest score of the week! However, on Spelling Shed this week you actually finished 6th out of 6. This really needs to improve so can we have a big push this week please!

This week I have created new challenges on both TT Rockstars and Spelling Shed. I have uploaded another set of work and remember you should still be accessing Oak National Academy or BBC Bitesize for some daily lessons.

That's all from me, enjoy your week!
