Rhymes and Poems are so important in Early Years in supporting language development.

We are learning a new rhyme about stars, learn together at home

Star light

Star bright

The first star I see tonight

I wish I may

I wish might

Have the wish I wish tonight.

This rhyme is wonderful as it supports many of the phonic sounds we are learning in class this term.

Creative spaces - Woodland

Keeping safe on the Internet.

We looked at a story called 'The Adventures of Smartie the Penguin'.   It's a story about a penguin who is using his tablet to play a game when all of a sudden something 'unusual' pops up.  What should Smartie do?  The children were wonderful at responding to the questions.

The children were also able to recognise and name the sites that they are allowed to use at home.
