Local Walk

On Tuesday 17th March, Oak class went on a walk around the local area. We were looking at both physical and human features in our area. We saw lots of bins, speed bumps and road signs. We discussed the reasons why they are there. We talked about speed bumps being in place to slow down traffic as well as metal railing being in front of school entrances to keep children safe. Whilst on our walk, we thought about how we both help and harm our local environment. Unfortunately, we saw lots of litter on the floor even when there are lots of bins around.
