As part of the Merseyside Police Scrambler Bike Project, Year 6 visited Crosby Lakeside to participate in a number of team building and individual sporting activities. A Day in Politics - Enabling Enterprise Day - Thursday 18th October 2019.
Our recent challenge day explored the world of politics! We worked in teams to come up with our own manifestos, party names, logos and posters. At the end of a hard day’s work we presented our ideas in a mini election. All our teams were brilliant; working with creativity, confidence, positivity and determination. Our elected winners of the day were The House of Elder - well done!
Enabling Enterprise Visit - Bruntwood, Liverpool - Friday 19th October 2019.
As a school we have been part of the Enabling Enterprise initiative for a number of years. We take on challenge days to develop a number of skills, with the view to give the pupils an insight into the world of work and working collaboratively on a project. The skills we work on are listening, presenting, problem solving, creativity, staying positive, aiming high, leadership and teamwork. As part of our experience, we were able to visit a business in Liverpool and we loved having the opportunity to work with people from the business as well as creating our very own towers - we were very persuasive, enthusiastic and creative! Thank you for having us for the day Bruntwood; the history of the property and range of businesses that use your building in the Cotton Exchange is amazing!
