During our final couple of days of school, the children in Oak class made their own Christmas decorations to hang on their Christmas trees at home. We made Rudolph the red nosed reindeer out of salt dough. The children were provided with the salt dough mix and were then asked to use a rolling pin and cutters to produce a round thin shape. The children then put their hand impressions on their shape, cut a hole in the top so it would hang and then put their ornaments in the oven to dry out the mixture. The children used acrylic paint and googly eyes and painted Rudolph out of their hand prints. Well done Oak Class!
