On Thursday 27th February, Chestnut and Oak class visited Chester Zoo. We were really lucky with the weather as we were worried about all of the rain we had been having. Fortunately, the rain lasted for no longer than 10 minutes as we arrived. We managed to see lots of animals at Chester Zoo including; lions, giraffes, red-river hogs, penguins and even bats! We bravely made our way through the dark, smelly and scary bat forest whilst they flew right before our eyes! The children were really brave, a lot braver than I was! We had a fantastic day and hope that we can visit again sometime soon!
