In our school we use Singapore Maths for our Maths lessons. We enjoy using concrete resources to explore a range of concepts.
During a lesson which we were looking at this term, we created a model of numbers from 1 to 20.
We found it enjoyable to see how to partition numbers into tens and ones. If you look at the models which we have created you can see that we have tried to use different coloured cubes for 10 and then counted our ones.
We found this quite easy as we worked as a team and realised each time the number is jumping up by one.
