GANGS stands for "Get Away 'N' Get Safe". It is a project set up by former probation officer James Riley who runs a prevention programme for schools across Merseyside. The aim of the GANGS programme is to "educate, inspire and empower young people to take control of their future by rejecting the gang lifestyle." James was in class with Year 6 every afternoon during the week beginning 20th November. The class thoroughly enjoyed participating in the activities and learned a lot about how gangs affect people's lives.
